calculoverse Terms of Use
Last updated: September 18, 2026
Welcome to calculoverse. By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Educational purpose
calculoverse is a free calculator provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice, and its results should not be relied upon for engineering, financial, medical, legal, safety-critical, or any other decisions where an error could cause harm or loss. Always verify important results independently.
2. No warranty
The site and all of its results are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We work hard to make calculoverse accurate, but calculators, symbolic engines, and numerical methods can and do produce mistakes, rounding differences, or unexpected results. You use the site at your own risk.
3. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, calculoverse and its owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, grades, business, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site or any result it produces, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to use calculoverse only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not damage, disable, overburden, or impair the site. You are responsible for checking that any result is appropriate for your intended use.
5. Privacy
Calculoverse does not require a user account and does not collect or permanently store personal identifying information. Any values you input into our tools are processed strictly client-side within your own web browser. Calculation histories and settings are stored locally on your device (via local storage) and never leave it.
To monitor performance and optimize the site, we use Vercel Analytics. This service tracks anonymous, aggregated metrics (such as page views, general geographic regions, and browser types). It is cookie-free, does not use tracking identifiers, and automatically discards network routing data (such as truncated IP data) within 24 hours.
6. Intellectual property
The calculoverse name, design, and content are owned by calculoverse. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the site or its code without permission.
7. Changes to the site and these terms
calculoverse is in early access. Features, accuracy, and availability may change or be discontinued at any time without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the current version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or your use of calculoverse, are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia and the federal laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wood County, West Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If you access the site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
